Job Location: 50858 Cologne, Germany

Your tasks:

  • manage R&D projects in agile and efficient way regarding time, resource and quality
  • make sure that the required Project Management Policies are met
  • since the early stage of the project initialization you will support and, ideally, lead the projects until they are successfully turned over to mass production
  • break down work packages within the project team, ensure task completion and drive active change management
  • methodical leadership with guidance to motivate and inspire the project team

The successful candidate will:

  • have a Masters / PhD degree in a relevant natural science or engineering
  • several years of experience in project management
  • strong negotiator with ability to resolve critical issues leveraging internal resources within a matrix organization
  • display sound knowledge of resonantly coupled wireless power transfer systems
  • be proficient in FEM and Electric circuit simulations tools (Altair Flux, Ansys Maxwell or similar; Adapted Solutions Portunus and/or Mathworks Simscape)
  • strong presentation and communication skills
  • demonstrate leadership, interpersonal skills, and team player abilities
  • write and speak professional English, additional German or Japanese language skills are an advantage
