7 February 2013

Participants in the new TMG GT86 Cup will be given exclusive access to the state-of-the-art facilities at TOYOTA Motorsport GmbH in Cologne.

All participants entering the competition, which runs within the Nürburgring-based VLN series, will be invited to a special TMG open day, where they can see behind the seasons of one of Europe's leading motorsport facilities.

TMG will show where the TS030 HYBRID - a race winner in the FIA WOrld Endurance Championship - is built while participants will learn more about the preparation of the GT86 CS-V3 race car, including seeing some of the test rigs which helped make it such a reliable and high-performance car.

TMG has been based in Cologne for 34 years, covering time in World Rally, Formula 1 and Le Mans. The general public are not able to visit the facility, making the TMG GT86 Cup participants part of an exclusive group who have seen behind the scenes at the home of high performance.
