Job Location: 50858 Cologne, Germany

Your tasks:

  • preparations of prototype/racing cars by following defined specifications and support the cars at test/ races
  • install, calibrate and test all electrical systems like sensors, ECUs, power distribution units, telemetry and data acquisition components
  • diagnose and rectify electrical system defects as well as performing all necessary fault investigations
  • maintenance troubleshooting and upgrade of the race and tests equipment

The successful candidate will:

  • have a Masters degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • have relevant experience in comparable high-end surrounding
  • be familiar with electronic systems testing and validation
  • experience with CAN and Flexray communication protocols and bus simulation tools (Vector CANOe, CANape)
  • be proficient in Data acquisition systems and ECUs calibration tools, mastering Marelli Wintax/ Sysma and McLaren Applied Atlas / System would be an asset
  • knowledge in Mathworks Simulink will be appreciated
  • have basic knowledge of combustion engines, drivetrain, hybrid systems and electrical vehicles
  • used to working in a structured, thorough and self-organized manner
  • write and speak professional English
